Design of Front-End Receiver and Matrix for 2–18 GHz with a Searching and Tracking Function for an ELINT System

In this paper, we describe the design and fabrication of a front-end receiver matrix modules for 2−18 GHz with high gain, good phase matching characteristics, reliability; was accomplished by applying chip-and-wire process using bare-type monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) device. To compensate mismatch among many sub-modules, module, built-in test module suitable sub-band frequency characteristics were designed applied to direct receiver. The box used high-pass filter remove unwanted low frequencies 4-way divider distribute single input BIT signals. broadband had two paths: path an amplitude path. Phase- amplitude-matched radio semi-rigid cables different lengths connect internal sub-modules main RF line dielectric substrate, RT/Duroid 5880, relative constant 2.2 thickness 0.127 mm. sizes 137 mm × 120 31 250 238 138 mm, respectively. wideband gain 22.99 dB at mid-band (frequency 2−6 GHz) return loss about 14.76 dB. Th e 23.25 band 6−18 GHz), having 11.63 peak values channels 2–6 ±3.30°, 6–18 ±8.24°.
